A New Strength........

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

It's 5:10am and I have been up for at least 2 hours.  This weekend was a moment of complete trials and weakness.  Not weakness because of what the Lord wasn't doing but because of my view of life.  It seems lately that every time something good happens it is followed by something bad and the battles get worse and worse and worse.  I wanted to have a pity party and say, "oh poor me" but the truth of the matter is the battles are not the results of things I am doing wrong or failing at but the result of things I am doing right.  If it could have went wrong this weekend it did and I spent much time on my pillow boo hooing because I couldn't understand why when I was doing the best I could it wasn't good enough.  Thing of it is, if I had half done something or just bypassed something the Lord wanted done then I would not have done my best.  The devil wants us to think we have failed because when he can do that we become weaker and his attacks grow in strength.  I was reminded of the verse , "but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."  I am so thankful to the Lord and I love Him with all my heart.  I praise Him for even placing a husband in my life that helps me understand things when I can't see them.  I am strong, I will not faint because I wait upon the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift up this day to you.  I thank you for trials and tribulations because they allow me to be stretched and to grow just how you want me to.  I lift up those around me precious Father and ask that they be blessed and have a renewed sense of hope and faith.  I lift up those who don't know you yet Father that they too will come to understand what Isaiah was saying.  I ask that you be with us all today precious Father, go before each step that we take and let those steps be for your glory.  AMEN.
